Regarding Airtel Xstream Entertainment Rs 999 Plan.

Dear All,

I am interested in the Airtel Xstream Entertainment Rs 999 Plan in Central Kolkata ( Pin 700 012) Near Yogayog Bhawan.
Is this plan available in my area and if yes then is it FTTH ( Fiber to Home) ?

Whom to ask in Airtel regarding this. I have emailed at 121 but no reply.

Go to the airtel website, click on broadband, then plans. Choose "select" and then enter your address. It will show if it is available.

Its showing "Network availability check at your address" by the Executive . There is no option to check availability in the website beforehand. Kindly check.

only option is to ask your next door persons. Whether any of them are having Airtel Fiber connections or not. or try to get hold of the moble number of the local lineman and call him.
Airtel in Kolkata is still not having Fiber connections in majority areas are only providing copper based VDSL connections which they deliberately mislead customers as "V-fiber". Vifiber has max speed limits of 40 mbps only and for VDSL one should never opt for anything other than 499 plan.

Applied for two Airtel Plans of Rs 499/- each since Fiber is not available in my area. One connection for home and the other for office at 40 Mbps.
God knows when Airtel FTTH with high speed will come to our area.
