Just saw this thread and tried the 4 websites mentioned above. Except Typepad, all the rest are blocked. So, it means BSNL also blocks sites and maybe the file hosts would also be blocked soon. Maybe we are moving towards censorship and dictatorship instead of democracy. 
We call ourselves the largest democracy and countries like US and Europe are proving to be far better democracies with a lot more freedom. We are following the Arab countries where dictatorship occurs instead of the West it seems. :Freaky:

US-based search engine Google Inc, facing a civil lawsuit along with 21 other websites for allegedly hosting objectionable contents on its web posts, has told a Delhi court that the blanket ban and monitoring of material would be against the right to freedom of speech and expression guaranteed under the Indian Constitution.
In a reply, filed before Administrative Civil Judge Parveen Singh, Google Inc said, "Its mission is to organise the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Most services offered by it are premised on sharing of information and knowledge without the exercise of any editorial control or of monitoring by it."

Congress is happy to draft anything which affects the people and freedom of the citizens. and the same congress is reluctant to do anything about the rampant corruption , and to greater extent pushes a retarded lokpal to encourage corruption.

Again i am repeating , let them draft , let the proposal go through , let the act me implemented , let govts gag all kinds of media .. You need to destroy a bad thing to create a good one !! People have to be affected to cause a revolt against such laws , till then , it will only be on forums like this.
