I believe that Reliance 'Combo 600+ Night Booster top up' is the best plan compared to BSNL,Asianet and Airtel.
Reliance uses a web-based login, which can turn out to be a major headache - if you are opting for the connection solely for downloading purposes. I have come across certain so-called scripts which will help you sustain the connection for extended time periods.

Yes.This is the only disadvantage I could find with Reliance. But login again would only be required after 24hrs or if there was no download/upload going on for a long time. I never had a history of working on my laptop for more than 12hrs at a stretch, so I don't think this would be a problem for me.
comparing the speeds:
BSNL 750 plan - 512kbps unlimited.
Reliance 749 - 600kbps (day) 1mbps(night)
