cant access the modem like i did for the router...after some googling i landed on this page http://www.*******************/reliance-broadband/31927-inno-media-mta6328-1be2s.html?dofbredirect=1 and according to it the modem is probably a sllippter...

PS. i am connected to the net right now directly via the modem w/out router

Hi

Nope none of the 2 IPs work
mine is INNOMEDIA 6628-1Be2S and its nothing like the other(looks wise)

I am directly connected to the modem via a LAN cable and i havent faced any disconnection at all....could there be a fault with my Netgear router its an WGR614 N150 router that the reliance outlet guy recommended my dad....

I would like to add that before this setup i was using a bsnl modem+router by teracomm which though didnt disconnect had a terrible signal on first floor of my house, anyways my dad returned it to the bsnl guy and closed the connection.
