bsnl >>>>>>> reliance :DPaste the ipconfig output, as suggested by M05f3t.

That IP belongs to reliance, it'll not open the modem config page.@opHow do you connect to the internet ? By dialing or by entering a username password ino the reliance page ?

Looks like it's a splitter and not a routing device. The NIC gets IP extension directly from Reliance DHCP. He's on Metro Ethernet.

8. We can Connect Normal Ethernet Cable to any PC and can go to http://10.239.89.15 (Reliance Broad net Authentication Server) and get Broadband
9. We can Connect Supplied Voice Over IP Device and Connect a 1 / 8 / 16 / 32 / 64 POTS Line IP to Land line Switch and get Land line over Ethernet

I am directly connected to the modem via a LAN cable and i havent faced any disconnection at all....could there be a fault with my Netgear router its an WGR614 N150 router that the reliance outlet guy recommended my dad....

How about now? are you facing disconnections?

Disabling Tredo and IPv6 might help.

Nope its running smoothly....no disconnection at all....should i reconnect the router and check...how do i disable tredo or IPv6

ok i disabled teredo....ill see if it helps..though i have 3 systems that work on this wi-fi, should i do the same on all...till then thanks...

should i do the same on all

First, try with one.

1.
Run => cmd =>
Code:
netsh dump > C:\backup_log_tmp.txt
See if "backup_log_tmp.txt" was created in C:\, if yes, continue else retry

2.
From all adapters in Network Connections, un-check TCP/IPv6 in Connection Properties

3.
Run => cmd => Execute the following commands, one at a time:

Code:
netsh interface teredo set state disablednetsh interface 6to4 set state state=disabled undoonstop=disablednetsh interface ipv6 6to4 set state state=disabled undoonstop=disablednetsh interface ipv6 isatap set state state=disabled
4.
Post ipconfig /all

Connect the router > connect through WiFi

Download and install:
Wi-Fi Inspector | Xirrus

Post snapshot.
