Reliance Broadband down in Mumbai - western suburbs

And today my Internet again went down at 11:00 AM. I called the customer service to be told the standard lie by Girish that my complaint is on highest priority (ahem - I felt like Ambani his-self). Girish promised to have a Field Engineer call me back in an hour. Do you really I bought into it. NOPE. I called back after 2 hours and talked to Neha and then to Shiv Kumar (Neha's boss) and they both would give me the standard lie. I insisted on knowing the reason my net was down and after 38 minutes to conversation (mostly on 'hold') I was told that there is, GUESS WHAT?, a WIRE CUT. Awesome! Ain't it? Reliance Broadband Internet is down again in less than 2 weeks because of a WIRECUT and guess who must have done it this time. BMC of course.
Reliance, please pay the BMC rents and ask them not to cut your wires. I just need the internet to work so that I can work.

Good to know your net is up and working. Mine is not, again. I will call the appellate folks and see how far the wheels turn. I do not trust these guys as they are part of the Reliance empire too.
 
Reliance has a super awesome support. The closed my complaint without fixing the problem. I wonder what kind of support these people have. Really tired of these f#cki$g a$$e$.

If the problem is not resolved then he will have a senior level person call me and let me know what they are doing about it. This all is followed with the standard lie "And it will be on high priority". :)
 
And the saga continues.Got a call from Prashant from Reliance at 12:53 PM today. He informed me that the technical team will, "probably" resolve my Internet connect by tomorrow afternoon or evening. Well, I really like the lies from Reliance.I am talking to other service providers now.
 
Got a couple of calls informing me that a technical support person will visit me. Good for them. Nobody came over. LMAO.Day 0512:15 PM talking to Milind. Gave him my complaint number. Put me on hold for 3 minutes. That's ok. Now the whammer:My complaint had been closed without fixing my problem.Milind wants to open a new complaint and I don't want that. I want to talk to a supervisor.Talking Kishore Kamble - he gives me the same bull. "Will have the problem resolved on priority"Asked him to transfer to his supervisor.Pooja Gorkha- team lead has no history of my problems. I have to give her history.She is registering a complaint. She wants to escalate. She cannot give me a commitment. I guess I want to talk to a senior.She says she she will call be fore 5 PM.Total time talking to them 36 minutes. Whoa!
 


bro this is with the appelate phone number? I am shocked with this......very poor. I hope Reliance gets it's act together.
 
Eventually after shouting, I told Reliance that I don't care and decided to go with another service. Well anyways, I got a call from Reliance Billing department that I should immediately pay the bill which is due on August 17, 2013. Talk about their stupidity. Well, I will pay the bills as I do not like to hold payments and specially just about a thousand rupees.And finally a tech support guy showed up and he fixed my issue and what he told me was a shocker but, I will keep to myself, least he lose his job.he is a fine boy doing his job. :)Oh, this one for Pooja from Reliance, I hope that my net does not get disconnected again.
 
Good after all these hassles you got it. I would urge you bro if you have not done it already, to please call customer service (yes...again!) and get waiver off next month bill for all the days you did not have internet and keep the dates all ready to fight again with them as they closed your case many times. I did it and didn't have to fight as my record was not closed like yours.Hope Reliance works for us this time. Very disheartened to see service providers ask for money instantly but provide solutions a century later. All the best.. :saturn:
