^^ then why claim its 94% cheaper then existing tariffs etc...if its promotional offer then you cannot compare with BAU running plans. The news articles are so misleading and surprisingly not a single site has come up with actual representation of the tariffs clarifying 93 is one time only...

It is not like they haven't misled customers already, so such low tactics to fool customers is nothing new for RCom.

^^ RCOM or any other company for that matter I understand, thats because of our laws and policies the way they are defined anybody can walk away with a asterisk mark saying conditions apply etc. It doesnt work that way in UK and many other countries.

My query is again around Media, while most of them can follow the wave and print misleading info, there is not a single reputed site which says this is misleading or here is the actual tariff etc...Forget Reliance - I am not even expecting them to clarify...

That's not true. The websites that are misleading users are general websites like Times and Express. They are not specialists and they cannot be expected to know that it's FRC.
The specialist telecom news websites are not carrying such news. As for your point that no website is clearly saying it's fake news -- that's also not true. see this:
PTI also added that Reliance Communications will offer 4G tariffs that are cheaper than market rates by over 90%.

However, this is contrary to the information that we have been able to get from our sources. RTN had been the first to report that RCom will price its 4G data much higher than it had been doing for CDMA, and will offer 10 GB at Rs 1,350 per month.

RCom is offering 10 GB of 4G data free of charge for anyone who opts for the free upgrade from CDMA to 4G. However, going by the new PTI report, the company will offer 10 GB for less than Rs 100.We believe such tariffs are highly unlikely, though not impossible.

source: WAIT ENDS: Reliance 4G services to start this week for CDMA upgraders via Jio sharing - report - RTN.ASIA

You should also note that PTI or Times will carry a news if they get it from their 'sources' in the company. It's news for them. If the company fails to deliver, people will become angry and the company will face the music from consumers. You can't blame these guys if the company gives wrong info to them.

^^ dont agree that we cant blame them. They are suppose to verify the authenticity of the information they publish - Its part of their job...
RTN.ASIA was the only one which had published the first part of the story and then they have found what I had highlighted on this forum. Glad to see that atleast one less known website has published the fact

This is what RTN.ASIA had published earlier...which did not have any coverage of contradictory news etc...I had googled like about 60 different portals altogether and found one which had different tarriffs but no one still clarifying that 93 Rs was not correct

Reliance unveils 4G data tariff plans: 1 GB @ Rs 300, 10 GB Rs 1850 - RTN.ASIA

part of the problem with media is that they don't like attacking each other openly. but i remember a previous occassion when such rumors were spread.. it was saying jio will offer 75 gb for 200 rupees once it starts service.
again, I think it started from PTI report. At that time, someone, not sure who, had immediately given a headline saying it's wrong news.
