With this revolutionary technology, Jio and OnePlus aim to redefine how users in India experience the internet. If you own a OnePlus 13 smartphone, get ready for unmatched speed and reliability.
Even Snapdragon X75 modem found in OnePlus 12, and other androids supports N28+N78 CA. Even iPhone 16 Series with X72 modem also supports this CA combo. This is just OnePlus 13 fake PR advertisement just like they said they are supporting Wifi7. But in India, it's just partial Wifi7 with 2.4Ghz+5Ghz MLO and so far only few TP-Linkrouters available in India which do this. Forget about 6Ghz Wifi for True Wifi7.
Speed on N78+N28 can never exceed 2 Gbps as per the amount of spectrum allotted to Jio. Just check that article... The title says Speeds up to 10 Gbps but in the end they mention 1014 Mbps achieved.
In short, don't believe in trash tier marketing from Jio and OnePlus. Both pumping each other with gas.
Heck even X70 supports 5G CA. US version of S23U has pretty good 5G CA support. Acc to CA dump on CA combos, both UL and DL CA is supported by S23U Hardware
The modem may be the same on multiple phones but it has to have 3CC carrier aggregation combos/configurations from the manufacturer's end to make use of the carrier aggregation feature. OnePlus 13 and 13R seem to have the configurations for Jio.
On that note wanted to ask does anybody with Oppo Find X8 on Jio see 5GA icon?
Jio have also officially announced VoNR/Vo5G in Mumbai and Delhi. Has anybody observed phone staying on 5G for voice calls?
