Reliance Jio 5G Welcome Offer Criteria

I took new Jio sim for ported number. Sales guy told that if Sim is in 5G coverage area with supported 5G phone for 7-8 hours, then we get invite in MyJio app.
My home is surely not in Jio 5G coverage area. Neighboring place 2-3 Km has, but can't sit there whole day

Not sure getting jio 5G but speeds are 4G i didnt get any welcome offer from jio

Received the Welcome offer from Jio today with unlimited 5g usage until 2nd Feb but there's no Jio 5g coverage in my area. Is Jio extending the Welcome offer to everyone irrespective of them being in the 5g area coverage or not?

@sniper, I think it depends, if jio has started 5g services anywhere in your district then you will get the welcome offer whether 5g is actually available in your area or not. This was the case with me.

Did not received welcome offer. Esim is in 5g phone. Network field test shows deployment type is 5g NSA. My area is 5g enabled and still no 5g working.

hate this fake hype being created by jio.

though 4g itself is giving around 100mbps so hype is over for me haha

Having airtel as well but in chandigarh there is no airtel 5g yet. God knows why they are not deploying 5g here

got the welcome offer on my jio number but it says enable 5g in my handset. its already enabled but no 5g is coming.
what can be the issue ?

I am yet to get Jio 5G Welcome offer.
I even disabled 5G on SIM 1 which has Airtel SIM, and kept mobile data ON on SIM 2 (Jio) with 5G/4G/3G (Auto) for whole day.
But no signs of 5G Welcome offer

@Rickysin wait for 2-3 hours then restart phone you will automatically start getting 5g signals whenever you will be in coverage.
