20 Oct 3.30 Got call from JIO on ODU installation
20 Oct 4.30 ODU installed with comodity switch.

As per installer indoor unit to be installed by tomorrow 21OCT.

Update from old lco broadband - LCO person came and requested to take alliance broadband at 300Rs for 100mbps connection. Price significantly droped to 300INR from 710INR.
 
Yes. They purchase fixed amount of bandwidth from Tier-1 ISP (Airtel, Jio, TATA etc) and they make as many slices they want. But if some high end users start sucking the bandwidth then it gets really difficult for them to deal with.
 
It seems they again changed the ODU earlier it was a grey one with JIO logo the one above doesn't have the logo.

Ok so this is the 3rd time Jio changed the outdoor unit.

Yeah it looks for nearest tower (on map) and with the directional, elevation and network data provided by app they adjust ODU direction. Mine ZTE ODU have same kind of app.
