I have the same JIDU6611 but running a much newer firmware — JIO_JIDU6J11_R3.0.1 (06-11-2025 build).
On this firmware:
Given the List-OF-IDU's-and-ODU's.md doc mentions IDU6111 (same IPQ9574 chipset) as "LOCKED after fw >R.09" — it looks like Jio patched this on newer builds for this chipset family.
Has anyone gotten root on R3.0.1 or similar? Is UART the only remaining option for this firmware, or is there a firmware downgrade path that still works reliably (the .bin vs .img format issue mentioned earlier in the thread)?
Any pointers appreciated — happy to test/document anything for this exact model+firmware combo.

- The Backup/Restore option is completely removed from the WebUI (checked Maintenance and Diagnostics sections)
- The getBackupConfiguration API call itself returns {"status":"ERROR","code":"ERR_BAD_REQUEST"}
