Reliance Jio AirFiber to launch on September 19

There will be a outdoor cpe and indoor unit as mentioned in this video. This setup looks very promising compared to airtel airfiber which lacks a outdoor cpe. What you guys say on this ?

Everything depends on the onboarding cost. If they launch it at a correct price with some lucrative trial offers(which is unlikely), they will be able to get a lot of users atleast to try it even if not retaining customers. My guess is that pricing will be similar to Jio Fiber plans, slightly less maybe but the cost of CPE and external unit will be on the higher side. Let's see what strategy Jio has this time.
Might try it out if the pricing is right. It may act as a secondary ISP/backup for me.

Our government has a habit of snapping mobile internet on a whim. Wouldn't this stop working in that case?

It will stop working when they shutdown mobile services in an area and they do that a lot more than disabling mobile AND fiber services.

@MeanMachine it won't stop and @ishanjain28 you're wrong in this case because It won't stop working even when the govt. shuts off mobile internet due to security reasons because it is essentially at it's very core a broadband service no matter how it is served to the end user (wired or wireless) and that means it is different from a mobile connection in it's use and application.
