Reliance Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer

I still get
  • All lines on this route are busy error
  • Shitloads of cross-connections. (This should not happen on a digital network)
  • Random call drops for no reason. (Even if signal strength is full)
  • Can't connect a call till Airplane mode is switched on and off. Unexplained reason.
  • I miss several calls because my phone never rang but the opposite person tried 2-3 times.
  • Today 50 Mbps, tomorrow 2 Mbps at same place. Next day 30 Mbps. Random speeds.
  • Call quality (Choppy most of the times even Jio to Jio)
  • Calls to landline makes me hear my own echo. Problem with calls to any landline of MTNL.
My Jio is just a backup number because the network is as unreliable as Indian Monsoon.
I bet even Big Ambani uses Airtel/Voda as main number. Jio cannot be used as a main number.

I thought it was just me. I am experiencing exactly the same issues as you.

And count me in too, going to dump this after 3 months if things don't improve, they haven't responded to a complaint made on 13April

IPv6 implementation is sub par but then it's not like they had any choice. Android users have the ability to force IPv4 from APN settings and for iOS users I'd suggest you get a APN profile from APN Changer to force IPv4. 4G speeds are hit and miss like others already mentioned, probably capacity issue which can be solved if Jio finds a way to offload traffic via Wifi hotspot or broadband.

I put in a port out request and got a call from their retention team. They have assured me that most of the issues will be ironed out by 15th may. I will port out to vodafone again if things don't improve by then. I did the blunder of porting out my primary sim to jio. ( Yaah maybe I was on drugs ;-) )

I am hardly seeing any improvements. Dead zones are as is. same situation since 3 months. So I have little hope that they will actually fix everything by 15th.

Don't count on those promises, they told me everything would be fine by 30th April, and it's 9th May,nothing has been done so far,I can't even text, only data works which is like 1Mbps

I have 2 jio sim, 1st have 2 gb/day plan and 2nd sim have 100gb plan the problem I'm facing is that I get more than 20 mbps speed on my 1st sim but I'm struggling to get even 3mbps speed on my second sim is anybody else facing this throttling issue or should I call the customer care about this problem.

More info needed. Are both sim inserted in same phone or different?.

In my experience, they are throttling. When using VPN I get speed even with their default APN settings. Without VPN, it's like I have exhausted my data limit, with any combination of APN settings. You may try reversing the SIMs, if you are using both SIMs in same phone and if you are using in different phones, you may change the SIMs between phones to confirm whether they are throttling.
