those who were on 249Rs plan regularly ,would have to switch to 299Rs plan or get the lower validity plan

At least one 1 GB/day plan is available for 22 days in value section.

My approach to one single jio sim in our household is simple, recharge with 189 plan once a year to keep the sim active and not give a dime to these big 2.

Same for Airtel but every 3rd month (89th day) ending. Effectively Jio monthly ARPU from me would be : 15.75 rupees and Airtel would be : 47.25 rupees 😁.

BSNL : 153 plan every 6 months hence 25.5 ARPU.

Meanwhile Vi having multiple postpaid SIM's in our home + prepaid users having stacked yearly recharges up to 2027 😁. My ARPU ↗️↗️↗️.

Next decent Jio recharge right now would be Rs 209 for 22 days. Not sure but gut feeling says Jio 189 rs too will be gone

@unnecessary what would happen to your annual recharges if VI abruptly shuts their shop before 2027?
I also had 3 VI SIM in my family. 2 have been ported to Jio and Airtel. For remaining one VI sim used by me, I fear to recharge for 1 year, so I choose 6 months recharge plan of Rs 1049.

Okay, for me (if you don't pay attention to any propaganda the paid media is doing) Vi will 99.99% survive. There are many factors which are not even publicly known by people (my research). Including huge smart meter deployment projects and most importantly the public facing 49% GOI stake. Angone who believes Vi will close shop anytime is the biggest (won't say anything)... There will be things such as payment waiver or extention. Worst case? It won't be shutdown but surrendering themselves to BSNL which will be called merger. No recharge or anything is gonna go away. Since 2019 everyone's saying this and not recharging and porting out from Vi but we all know what's happening 😂🤣. So relax and use Vi as you wanna use. Don't let any propoganda change your usage behaviour. Btw except One Airtel, Jio & BSNL all for my personal testing for YouTube videos, our whole family uses Vi as primary and secondary SIM's since early 2000's.

@Rhishav That's exactly what I'm doing. My primary number is Airtel Postpaid which has unlimited 5G. VI is only used at certain locations where there is no internet on my Airtel SIM.

Jio also axed the 799 plan. Quite a clean up. Hope 666 and 189 is left untouched

Everyone who hates Jio now react with Sh$t emoji on this please.
