What about the upload speed for users that migrated to paid plans is it same as download speed or did it get divided by 10? Like 10 Mbps upload for 100 Mbps plan or 20Mbps upload for 200 Mbps plan?

Also it seems like 650 and 850 plans will give you access to OTT apps for only 3 months???

On the website, it says for '3 Times'.
So mostly it will mean for 3 recharges (and not 3 months). So I feel if you recharge with an annual plan for 3 years, you will get the OTT apps for 3 years. For the fourth year (4th recharge), you might not get it.
(If you recharge with a monthly plan 3 times, you will get it for 3 months).

Is there an option to opt out of STB? I mean, if I only want data (fiber modem) and dont want STB is there a provision for that with Jio Fiber?
My thoughts exactly. I am quite happy with my Airtel DTH, esp now wth the new trai regime. Also now convinced not to put all my eggs in this incompetent Jio basket.
In an aside family members are seriously thinking of shifting their sim to Airtel rather than Jio.

I would like other paid users like Dhiraj to confirm if the upload speed is capped for them as well on the paid plans.

I am getting 85 mbps download and 10 mbps upload on the silver paid plan.

So I checked today and 199 plan wasn't activated yet, got in touch with CC and said they are aware of this issue since many customers opted for 199 plan and it is a standalone plan but due to technical reaons they asked me to recharge with other base plans for now - 699/849 etc.
