why use truly unlimited in the first place? and what's the post fup speed? why hide this information in the actual promo material and plan table?

That's how marketing and business works. Technically it isn't hidden but present in the T&C.

In an alternative reality, one would be able to complain about this to Advertising Standards Council of India and get them to stop using the phrase truly unlimited in any kind of promo material.

Atleast Airtel calls their 3TB Upgrade "Unlimited" instead of "Truly Unlimited".

I think they waited for all marketing to get out and get all the clicks and coverage and then silently updated the ToS for 'Truly Unlimited* Only 3.3TB*'.

TBH, I think 3300 GB is pretty generous considering even after running 4k HDR streams and downloading games etc, some data will be left.

I did some heavy downloading this month, thanks to Jio double data vouchers which stack up:

Not my usual use though. With regular downloads, and multiple TVs and tablets streaming content, I do about 1 TB a month.
