They replaced the unit and now its working fine. They mentioned even online purchased units come under door to door service its just staff is not knowledgeable hence they apologised and gave number of senior person for future problems for my serviced area and escalated the way my request was handled. I suspect that recent update to main jio router (r2.9 dated 5th Feb 21) is causing the issue for mesh extenders. Anybody else is using jio mesh extenders? Are you facing issue? Started recently?

I have started facing issues with Mesh recently. When I enter room which has Mesh router, the wifi on phone stops completely, I have to manually disconnect and connect again. I checked ONT and it was updated on 11th Mar. Not sure if we will get any support during this lockdown period.
How do one access gateway page of Mesh Router?

Also how is the handover between ONT and Mesh? My video calls or normal voice calls gets disconnected as the handover is not smooth. What is resolution to this? I had particularly ordered Mesh system coz of issues with Calls.

I wasted 2.5k on this stupid Jio Mesh. I have TP-Link extender (One Mesh) and TP Link router (non Mesh). Should I buy another extender with One Mesh or buy proper router? My wife is going to kill me for having so many routers at home.

You are on Jio, right? So that means your router needs to be in AP mode, and IIRC OneMesh is not supported in Access Point mode.

ok was not aware about that, what could be the best Mesh solution for Jio user then?

Is your house wired for ethernet? Using separate access points is a good alternative. Although, it might require some tinkering in the router settings. But if done correctly, it can give you as good of an experience as mesh.

yes it is wired with ethernet, I did try setting up as AP but calls drops when roaming. Between two TP-Link (non mesh and one mesh) , at best it took 20 seconds to reconnect. Between Jio ONT and Jio Mesh, call drops. Now not what combination will help.

You used JioMesh with wired ethernet, right? Try using it wirelessly once. It might help
