The unlimited data aims to say that there is no daily limit. It has been phrased in a wrong way knowingly or unknowingly

I would say knowingly, knowing that there’s no agency in India to take them up for misleading advertising. The only other option is that no one at the decision-making level understands English.

I hate ISPs abusing the unlimited word.

I dislike the concerned agencies’ attitude more. It’s their job to tackle misleading advertising. They don’t.

Out of sight is out of mind.... They will do it eventually... and if even not... very few would do it... like plan Rs.129 has been put in the last page in others.... it was their first plan Rs.98 one... You do not see this Rs.129 recharge option on any wallet but only with Jio.

This is odd. Maybe they realised they were making customers' lives easier by going for full 30 days.

Strange though. I tried to recharge on site using my mobile number and it was successful.

I can also. Seems to be a bug on website. It's visible on the Jio app as well as other UPI and recharge apps.
