Only works on iOS

Yes, I can confirm it does work. Both with just data/VoLTE off + connected to Wifi and and in airplane mode + connected to Wifi. It works across all 3 ISPs that I am connected to. So far the implementation on iOS is very stable. Kudos to Jio for getting it right so soon after roll out.

I wonder if VoWifi will work without international roaming? That is can I use WiFi abroad to call home?

The information posted refers to calling international numbers from India and the fact that they would be charged. It doesn't have anything to do with making calls when outside of India.

Jio has confirmed that the service is not available when outside India.. Looks like they have IP based restrictions. However, they say, it will be launched soon.

Jio wifi calling is working for me outside India, if it's not working use VPN and connect to India ip

I am outside India for the last 6/7 months. If I enable VoWifi, the phone can register and I can see incoming calls but when I answer the call, it drops. I have to keep VoWifi turned off to be able to make/receive calls.

If anyone wants me to test/check anything, let me know.

@tatyasky I tested it on flight to london/Heathrow and it worked perfectly for both Incoming and outgoing SMS/Calls. You just need to have a roaming package for it to work.
