Reliance Jio now sending messages about automatic upgrade to new Truly Unlimited Fiber Plans

Currently I'm paying 1533 including GST for gold 250mbps plan . I think after the upgrade to 300mbps, from the next month; after current plan expiration, we will have to pay more ~1770 , Have you guys checked??

Therefore, I recharged with 18400 for 14 months with 1000 HSBC cashback. So, I got new gold plan upgrade at 1242 monthly only. It will be value for money if they provide Netflix + Prime at this price.

PS: I already had 6 months gold. So, now I have 15 months net hopefully with OTT.

So I see that they have updated long term plans in the app, but surprisingly , the long term plans are available for diamond and up. I hope they offer long term recharges for other plans too, especially the gold plan.

@Dhiraj they haven’t updated the long term plans. they’re old plans, look at the FUP there, it’s old. they will probably update the new long term plans and incentives soon.

Useful discussion of late since I too am having an Annual Silver plan and was debating whether to use the multi-purpose voucher now or maybe after the 5th. Guess I'll hold off for now, and provided it is still available will redeem for 2 extra months only when my year's subscription is about to end. Meanwhile it seems my 15 extra data vouchers are going for a toss, unless by some miracle they're still applicable over and above the 3300GB limit.

I talked with the customer care today.

1. The person said once the extra month(Multi purpose)voucher is redeemed, it will be started automatically after expiring of the regular plan.
2. I had earlier redeemed my coupon for another account and I can see the extra month plan in the queue.
3. Once redeemed, in the Queue you will see an option ACTIVATE. Do not click on it as it will immediately activate the plan along with the ongoing plan.
4. He said that even after upgrade of existing users, the vouchers will still be available. They will not be removed.
5. There is no update regarding long term new plans with them as of yet.

They have mentioned Multipurpose voucher validity as 2 months here. 'After which they get expired and you can't redeem those'.
Customer care telling it can be redeemed at the end of long term plan and Whatsapp account giving validity as 2 months. Don't know who is correct.

Redeeming a multipurpose voucher means choosing between double data or extra months. If you have chosen either, then you have already redeemed it

No I haven't redeemed it yet (haven't chosen either double data or extra month). The confusion is how long are we allowed to keep it un-redeemed in the Vouchers section before it goes away.
