Called their customer care as I can not connect to a single delhi airtel number. Been on hold for 30 minutes and counting. No update on how long a voice rep will get to me or the number of callers ahead of me. I guess I should stick to Airtel.

@nitinmits No luck on 1995 as well. The IVR said welcome to platinum care and that we are transferring your call. 15 minute later I hung up myself. The last I talked to customer care was in July when they told me the connectivity issues will go away after commercial launch. I can connect to Airtel landlines but not Airtel Delhi mobiles. Strange.
All my calls to MTNL Mumbai landlines, idea and Rcom connect instantly but not to Vodafone and Airtel. They need to sort this out to gain people's confidence. I would not hesitate to port my 15 year old Vodafone number once this issue is resolved.
Was in the market. Decided to check out the Reliance Digital outlet. There was a group of people standing outside and the store guy was sitting on a chair with a diary writing names and phone numbers of people on first come first serve basis. Refused to answer any queries related to JioLink. Kept on shouting only people with local contact addresses would be given SIMs. Company sends us just 50 SIMs on a daily basis but 500 people visit us in a day, what are we supposed to do. From the looks of it, if the same guy would be responsible for dealing with local complaints, I am better off staying away from Jio.

@Ouch Try to understand their side of story also. I saw them from morning to night surrounded by a group of people. Everyone fighting to get sim and then like the icing of the cake they gets hundreds of call from people scolding them, that why their sim isn't getting activated. If I would have been in their place, I would have sent mine resignation, Everything has some limits but these decision of giving sims for free isn't good, these is like trapping customers by giving freebies, Government should take some action against them as its like killing competition by giving things for free.
