Reliance could have launched a nationwide wait list. Apply for a SIM online. Get a call from local store when they can accommodate you? Maybe home deliver the Sims. These people are going to be your local contact persons for all issues related to Jio. They need to be better than this.

If it was done online, where would be the long q outside the shop?
And that long q generates more interest, which is what they want.

For that matter, why limit to 50 sims a day when it could be easily increased to 500?

At least CAF filling can be made online. Those guys at R store have to fill the CAF to avoid mistakes from customer's end. JIO need to improve a lot. I was signing up for JIO's some service and it has been ,ore than24hrs and I am yet to receive OTP.

My mom's Jio number got activated yesterday. I created her account on MyJio, however she hasn't received any email yet.

Does anyone know how to request an email again?

MyJio app says that 2GB/day and only 100 local minutes free.

how long is it taking for activation of jio sim almost 7 days gone and no sign of activations although the code generated on mobile shows as redeemed

If it is showing as redeemed, your application is uploaded to Jio. You just need to wait now for the activation. If it has been long since the code says redeemed, go to the store where you purchased the SIM from and they will be able to tell you the status of the application.
