I just switched to the new ₹399 plan and added my wife’s number as child. However, it looks like I cannot allocate her data and her data is limited to 5Gb per month. Can someone confirm this?

No, cannot. Confirmed with customer care child numbers are limited to 5Gb per number.
Regressive much? Airtel and Vi Postpaid family plans have much better distribution of data quota, in my opinion.
Frankly speaking this doesn’t affect me much because both the numbers on my plan are on international roaming and we have data turned off. But it is a joke for people who stay in India. 5Gb data is not sufficient for anyone.

Strange. If anyone finds out how to share data from the main plan to the 99 plan, let me know. I do not see the option in the MyJio app

I don't see data rollover anymore; is that correct?
It'd be better to use the 399+3 sim and save 50% of the cost; you only get 25GB less. Extra ott not worth the extra cost.
Netflix is just mobile; it is cheaper to share with ibf members and prime costs 1499; saving atleast 800INR if you go for both OTT externally and 4.2k if you ignore ott.
599 is just to throw flak at vodafone with no ott benefits.
I think I'll continue with my Vi, this has just given them an edge.
