They haven't separated calls from data. It's a bundled offer at 303 per month.
When the billing cycle starts, a lot of people will opt out,
At current speeds it's 2G on 4G most of the time.

I just want to know if I can opt for 99 membership and do a 149 recharge,like I want options if I take the 99 thing..

If you don't enroll in prime for Rs.99 then
Jio base tariff is 2p/sec that would apply from 1st april or you can recharge with any voucher like Rs.149 to enjoy free calls.

If you don't plan to recharge Rs.303 from 1st april then don't opt for Rs.99 membership.

99 is prime membership one time fee for those who wish to join prime member & use 303 pm tariff. If you join prime member and does 149 recharge, your prime member voids/ends

If you join the prime membership and wanna continue you should do the 303 only for a year
