Can I insert Jio sim to other devices? If i insert on other device will they ban sim? Plz help me guys

It depends on what sim you have. Sim purchased with Lyf phone will not work on any other device.

A preview sim obtained through samsung preview offer / employee sim has been reported to work on any device.

they can know which phone it is from IMEI I guess, but not sure.

SIM doesn't get banned..services do
So if you are worried if the unlimited offer would be terminated then yes it might be if you insert in another phone,other than lyf

I have Jio SIM under LYF preview offer, inserted it in many phones and Huawei data card. In non-LYF phones, data and outgoing call are not working, getting errors like 'you dont have balance to make call' and loading a page redirects to 'balance exhausted' page.

Incoming calls and SMSes are working fine with non-LYF phones.

As soon as reinserting SIM back to LYF phone, every thing works fine.

Yup. You would need a SIM activated through a supported Samsung device.

^^ There have been reports of people using Samsung offer code to get a JIO sim and successfully activating it directly on other devices like Moto G4 and OnePlus 3.
