Reliance Jio to non-Jio network calls are free from January 1, 2021

Oh! I also recharged with ₹1299 for 2 Jio numbers.
I have several thousand minutes in balance, how to finish those 😂
 
Jio minted crores in the name of IUC. They were charging customers for every outbound call to other network. But they were getting paid for all calls that we received from other networks.
 
Jio generates more outgoing than incoming...net net they were loosing money hence they introduced IUC charge at 1st place


Jio has paid nearly Rs13,500 crore ($1.96 billion) as NET IUC charges to other operators.(This are the numbers just before they introduced IUC )

They have quietly removed all reference to the 12000 minutes to nonjio numbers. No additional offer of more data as I was hoping in post #11.

My 1699 is supposed to end on Jan 18th. It shows unlimited now. Also, I haven't been charged 6P for calls I just made.

Jio charges for voice calls for IUC, rival telcos may wait till Jan 2020

The company said that it has paid IUC to Airtel, Vodafone Idea and other operators while offering free voice calls to its customers. So far in the last three years, Reliance Jio has claimed to have paid nearly ₹13,500 crore as NET IUC charges to the other operators.

They were loosing big time hence they had to bring IUC charges.
 
Stop believing on what ever you read. I hope you know what is paid news.
Now there will be so many subscribers who have balance in their jio account which is useless now.
