Hope they release a similar update for 6/6T. The 10.3.1 for 6T didn't include anything like that.

Don't think that will happen, Airtel VoLTE never came to OnePlus 2 back in the day but Jio enabled VoLTE through software update.

You could try out custom ROMs, I think some A10 ROMs have VoWiFi working.

Yeah. WiFi Calling works fine on Custom roms.
