Anybody else got such an SMS ? I already got voice calling months back when it was launched.

So my Jio router did reset about an hour back, and I lost my settings. Had to redo the DNS settings, SSID passwords etc.

I have backed up my router settings in case something similar happens.
So that I can just upload that file and the old settings will be back.

Exactly. Most non tech people will be clueless after this happens.

I did that too. But that was a year back. I don't even know where my settings are. I honestly did not need to change the settings as my primary router is a Netgear R7800, connected via LAN to Jio.

Nah. Firmware is still from Aug. Basically the router just reset and apparently they activated voice calls. :/

@bobby_kes My primary DNS is 1.1.1.1 and backup is 8.8.8.8

Also guys, if you change DNS on LAN, the Jio router asks for a domain name too. Any idea what that should be ? WAN DNS change is easy peasy.

Strange I never had a reset done, I connected a instrument after I read a news report & it worked.

@socrates This was the 1st reset I've experienced. Can't say they didn't warn me.
