Reliance Net Connect (They Advertise it as 3 MBPS) but its not even 124 KBPS

Worst Worst Relaince.. Reliance fooling all customers.. Reliance is provided 0-100 KBPS connection by advertertising it as a 3MBPS conenction Looks like In india all Customer's are so fool... As there is no such laws like in other countries so companies taking advantages of it. I got this reliance connection couple of month back and I got mad when seeing this that simply connect to a gmail or google it took some minutes... and it show connection speed around 0-100 KBPS, I measures several times through speedometer and it show around 100 KBPS Speed. Connection break happen numerous times in a couple of hours and many of times service got complete disrupt, customer care also say that same that there is so problem in the system. I called to reliane customer care they didn't do anything just lodge a complain and no action resolvance taken any single time.. They tell reason that connection are so much due to that it got exhausted.. and Using these sort of fraud Reliance is making big money So all customer, where we are in this 21st centuary, looks like everyone fooling us in our own countryIn our own country, there is no value of service offering mentioned and what customer got in return. There is big big difference in between these...... Why not we take action against these, whether these are smaller or bigger companies does not matter.. I think we need file complian in bunch (bulk of people) of people all toghter then complain would be much more effective. What is your suggestion in this regard. Difference between service promised (mentioned/ advertised) to us and what we got in return. Reliance example is with you.. They charge as per their advertisement and at the end we all suffer due to that.. Why not we fight back??

what reliance claim is the capabilities of the technology they are using. they are of course not going to provide the peak speeds on the technology that is being used. they were recently targeted for claiming to be providing india's fastest wireless broadband service in the country. but of course... no one is stopping them from claiming something and delivering something else. as long as they are stating it as up to 3mbps speeds.also. they claim it as 3mbps and not 3MBps. there is a lot of difference between the two.

You mean they are completely right and we people are fool, as the mentioned thing can be anything (does not mean anything with 3 mbps - mega bits per second) you mean 100 kbps is all right speed what reliance providing. We all okay with that.. Does not make any difference with what they claimed and said.. if they say upto does it mean that they are free from everything. I am using fastest processor available in indian market.. max ram available..... why this is happening.. even reliance technical peple not have any clu.. they say this is very general issue with reliance (it happened most of the time) not a new thing with us... Why there are so big difference ?

well the fact remains... wireless broadband is not that popular and TRAI is not really doing anything about it. in the end... broadband has to be above 256kbps. and they are delivering on that. reliance and tata are both offering the service with the claims of up to 3.1 mbps speeds. the CDMA platform is different from GSM and they are probably allowed to use this faster wireless technology while GSM players have to wait for the licenses related to 3G technologies.

you must in weak signal area of reliance, with reliance evdo card which supports upto 3.1mbps speed, we can get up to 384 KBps speed on download speed, i remember hitting close to 300KBps. now a days as users increased, it peaks between 100 to 200KBps. I think you are getting around 124KBps ( 1mbps) speed, which is pretty much acceptable

3.1 mbps comes to around 388 kB/s (kilobytes per second).

Dude , The Reason you got less speed is due to congestion on network , I do,t think Reliance CDMA has anything related to network , since EVDO is in big cities and have good coverage
