HiGot a Huawei EC1260 wireless modem but it failed(no signal) within two months and the effort we will need to get it replaced is not worth it....the customer care sucks...even after fileing the complaint with the customer care that the modem is not working and got it chkd in their webworld(pls avoid going there it trulely will be a frustrating visit)we will be billed even if the modem is not in an usable state....following is the procedure i was told to follow to get to know what todo next1.after finding the modem is not working call the call centre and wait in queuw for any lenth of time depending on your luck....they will try to a solution but sure they wont....get a complaint number though it wil be helpfull(day 1)2.go to webworld to chk if the modem is wroking(day 2)3.thy wil pack us off to the equipent service centre(day 3)if they find fault with the equipement say within 3 days..4.get a certificate from the service centre tht the modem is not working and produce it in the RIl office there some one will question you as if we have got the modem for free(day 7)All these things we have to do it in their working hours so we have to waste our timei am into the 10 day now still ..........they are a pain in the ***.one more thing we cant suspend the service temporarily time the problem is resolved....PLS AVOID RELIANCE NETCONNECTPLS AVOID RELIANCE NETCONNECTPLS AVOID RELIANCE NETCONNECT

I think instead of banging your head on rel customer care, you can make sure, you have done the right configuration. Do u mean you arnt getting any signal bars at all? and not even for 1x? did you tried using 1x? if you are able to connect 1x then probably there's no BB+ network in your area. Forget the customer care, give more details here, someone here might be able to help you.

nope it doesnt even show signal bars then how will it connect to any network either 1x or BB it didnt show even when under their tower of reliance in thier premises its an equipement failure

I have the same sort of issue. Have given the datacard to the vendor for a replacement as reliance does not accept the product and asks you to go to the vendor. Its been 15 days now and I haven't got a replacement. And the billing will continue as reliance can temp stop the card even if defective.Options are 1. Temp suspend the connection (needs to be done for a min of 2 mths) and will be charged Rs 100 rent montly.2. Cancel it, waste of Rs 3500 which I paid just last month to buy this piece of shit.
