I am getting reliance wireless netconnect card. Is it safe for browsing sensitive sites like netbanking sites ?

Yes.Enable Window's default firewall if you have disabled it.

Make sure you have a good antivirus and firewall installed and working properly. If you don't have a firewall installed, enable the Windows Firewall as iChaitanya suggested.I strongly suggest to install a better firewall as Windows Firewall is not that good.

I've been using Reliance Netconnect for about a year now (mostly when I travel and when MTNL is down). The speed is always atrocious, as shown below.

I regularly use reliance netconnect. Mumbai, Pune. the whole of gujrat.. i get like around 1mbps regularly that is ~110 to 140kbps and sometimes even more.
