Big Broadcasting appoints Manavjeet Singh as distribution head
Reliance ADAG's media and entertainment venture Big broadcasting has appointed Manavjeet Singh as head - distribution. In his new post, Singh will be handling the distribution function for the Indian and overseas markets.
Prior to joining Big Broadcasting, Singh was working as country head and EVP for Reliance Consumer Finance, a division of Reliance Capital, which comprised vehicle loans, mortgages, SME loans, credit card and personal loans. Before that, he was part of the retail assets team with HDFC Bank working as EVP.
Big Broadcasting will be launching a bouquet of TV channels catering to diverse needs of audiences across genres.
The aim is to provide the Indian audience with a wholesome entertainment mix and introduce them to new genres and formats in television programming. The offerings will be spread across genres to appeal at national, regional, mass and niche levels.
