Repeaters On Reliance Jio Fiber

Hello i recently got a jio fiber connection at my home but i am facing connectivity issues due to low signal as i live in a 3 story house with each floor measuring 2500 sft,The jio router is placed on the second floor of which i dont get proper signal even in the second floor so i have added my old D-Link 2750u router next to jio router and connected it with lan and than i have connected a dlink dap 1330 repeater to dlink modem via wifi to extend the range to the ground floor and for the third floor i have added a mi router to dlink 2750u via wifi to extend range,but i am facing connectivity issues sometimes like slow speed,sometimes its not working sometimes some webpages not opening,so please tell me what to change and how to configure them properly.

I am using dlink 2750 u because after i connected it to lan with jio router, i got a wifi speed of 90+mbps whereas jio routers maximum touched to 70 mbps,thats y i am repeating it via dlink to other floors.

other issue i have is my jio stb is not working,its diplaying no apps,only a movie player and nothing else,i am on bronze 699 plan

I will get it but i am first trying to setup with the existing routers i had for dsl broadband.

The WiFi Band might be interfering with 2.4 GHz of devices you are using including the Jio Modem. Follow these and see if you find any improvement.

Turn off the WiFi Broadcast from Jio Modem. You can do it from the app or the Jio Centrum 192.168.29.1 (app is faster by the way).
Also since this is not a WiFi Mesh system, you should change the channels of all the individual devices and repeaters i.e. on the D-Link 2750u, dlink dap 1330 and mi router to avoid any interference. So have 3 diff channels for each of the 3 devices you are adding. Jio does not matter as we have turned off the Wifi and you anyways cannot change it from default channel 1.

Also to let you know, the speed on 2.4 Ghz will be around 65 Mbps max that will be around 40 Mbps after all the wifi repeater setup.

I cannot find channel settings anywhere in D-Link 2750u,dap-1330 repeaters anywhere.
The speed is 91mbps on dlink 2750u on wifi.

If it's router, it (channel setting) should be there. I do not have the interface to check. Try google.
Speed will be high near the router I was talking around the house. But if it maintains 90 then it's great.

Best option is to hard wire the repeater device if the link is weak and connections are dropping to the device. If you can manage, run Ethernet cables from D-Link router to repeater and Mi Router. Another option would be to use Powerline adapters but speed will not be 100% but will be reliable.

On the other hand if the repeater device itself is failing that results in issues than you need to replace it.

As someone said, you should get WiFi Mesh as you have 3 levels in house to manage. Just turn off the Jio Wifi.

No, JioFiber ONT are locked with the Connection. If you connect it to different connection, it won't work.

In that case, will my JioFiber ONT immediately work after connecting my ont to his fiber cable?

If it all goes to the same OLT, then it should work.

I don't think so, there is nothing specific in the fibre drop going to any house. It's all passively split.

If you take your ONT and connect it to any fibre link coming from the same OLT it should work. Unless they bind your ONT to the specific OLT PON port (note that a single PON port can serve 20 or 30 customers or more if required)

My neighbour friend house is just attached to right side of my house and fiber comes to his house from nearby right side pole's dp box and fiber comes to my house from left side nearby pole's dp box. Both these poles dp boxes are adjacent (no dp box in between these two poles).

So, There must be high chances that both nearby adjacent dp box's signals comes from same pon port of a olt ?

So here is one Issue I see. Use your D-Link Router as Access point. Connect cable from LAN from Jio ONT to WAN port on Dlink (it's adsl router, does it have one?).
So the DCHP has to be enabled with Router's IP 192.168.1.1.
The router itself will have the IP assigned from JIO but as an Access point it will assign IPs to connected devices from its DCHP server (starting from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.255).

Check if this router supports Access point mode. This is how I use my Asus Router with Jio Fiber.

Edit: So I checked the manual, It is ADSL router so you might have to try few things on your own. My steps may not work for you. Play around and see if you can manage it to work. Or use Mi Router and Dlink Repeater for now if you can.

It doesn’t have the wan port but if we install a middle east firmware 4th lan port is converted into a wan port,i am not sure what actually an accespoint is or how it is setup,i have just configured the wireless settings and disabled the dhcp server in the settings and than connected the lan cable to 4th port and it worked.
Here is the setting option,if u can help me setting up the accesspoint,will be glad.

Can u please post the screenshot of accesspoint settings,may b i am able to find something from it.
And have u enabled dhcp server settings on ur Asus router

If you are just having issues with sites not loading, try to change the DNS Server to Cloudfare or Google.

If the Lan port works as WAN then use it as Router mode. Set the Router IP as 192.168.1.1, Enable DCHP Server.
Change the DNS to Cloudfare (1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1). Wan/Internet connection type set to 'Automatic'. See if this works for you.

Here, change IP to 192.168.1.1
Enable DCHP Server (not relay)
Try without DNS change. DNS change should be in WAN not LAN if you need to change it.
