Request: Can anyone lend me a Betel Airtel modem in Jaipur for activation

I will try to get username and pass from them. I already spoke on 121 and asked them to speak to these guys but the call centers refused although they confirmed any modem will work. So not sure how twitter will help since they will not speak with the persons here.

file a complaint with airtel_presence.
they would most likely call you.
tell them your problem and clarify that you are not going to buy a shitty modem just for configuration purpose.
tell them that you want your connection activated even if they have to carry their own modem and then you would switch to your own router.
 
i would have done it for you. sadly, they would bombard ME with calls even though the problem is not with my own connection :( so it's better that you give it a go from your own id.
 
I just wanted give an update here that I was able to get my net connection activated using D-Link 2750u. Some problems did arise as the technician was initially hesitant to even setup using that modem and then the TR69 activation failed. I managed to get him to activate the connection without the TR69 and everything worked out perfect.
