How long does Railwire takes to provide Gaming IP?
Tickets are of no use and customer care is asking to wait 3 days..

Since i don't have a ticket number, I'm asking to know if it's genuine or will they again ask to wait more.

Welp the same. But after 2 days they said gaming IP is assigned and asked me to reboot. But port forwarding is still not working, I am still seeing a CG-NAT IP in my router and my public ip is different, so there's definitely something wrong or I've to do some config changes, replied the same to them. Just wondering if anyone else has any workarounds

Oh well, OP didn't answer my question, maybe you can. What's "Gaming IP"? From your post it sounds like no CGNAT.

@wheatbread Yes it's a CG-NAT. Looks like there's no way around that. I am currently on a wireguard pfsense setup, where everyone can access my servers behind pfsense through wg tunnel.

This gaming IP fiasco doesn't seem to help.. because everything is basically behind a CG-NAT and they want me to buy a static IP to do any sorts of port forwarding...

Gaming IP is something they assign to do a partial port forwarding on certain ports, it eliminates CGNAT I guess but I may be wrong, just a vague term... Because railwire said they assigned a gaming IP and I still have CG-NAT and I've no idea what they meant with gaming IP being assigned...

port forwarding on certain ports
They can do this while you're behind NAT (ask or figure out the port number(s) and change your wg peer port to that). If you don't want to be behind NAT, you should get static IP. What did you ask them to do in the first place? I keep asking them for this and the conversation goes nowhere, they just tell me to wait and forget about it.

Uh wireguard works fine, I already am hosting my webserver in my home. All the internet connections comes through wireguard tunnel.

I just want to eliminate the intermediate WG here, and get a dynamic IP which is forwardable to my router from the internet, I just mentioned nat type is strict in the mail and they said they would assign a gaming IP, but I am not even sure what they meant with that and what difference does it makes because it's still CG-NAT and in CG-NAT there's no way to get the ports opened other than by doing a reverse tunnel, which is what am doing currently with wireguard.

Right. If you figure which port(s) they've forwarded to your connection then you host a wg "server" at your home itself. You would not need a relay then.

Gaming IP doesn't really give you a Public IP, it is just another IP pool they have for a bit better routing and less restrictions for P2P games, which is still behind CGNAT.
