The problem with my connection is not rj45 , as my speeds are fine. but I get connection timeout on chrome, and dns issues. also video call buffers sometimes with pron sometimes buffers, game is playable next to impossible like MC5
But the thing is..... as soon I do a speedtest...... it is busted..... I got to consecutive 2 RTO's..... this goes to show some fault in line quality... will talk to my LCO...
Ofcourse ping on Ethernet is <1ms for me too constant, problem comes on wifi though. a bit unstable ping as i gave you before.
btw don't test your ping with google as they have direct peering with google or their services for upto 50mbps (regardless of your plan)
ping to cisco.com (on wifi) as there will be no cache server or peering involved to know the actual speeds.
btw what is RTO ? Didn't understand that part.
If your issue is not solved, let me know I know a guy who might be able to help you and he is in the datacenter of tripleplay and might help you with remote access.
Wifi is not ISP/ LCO issue.... it has to be sorted out at your end..... walls and ceilings etc....
Yes I do understand that Google is peered but still getting 2ms till my isp is good enough....
RTO....Request timed out
Yes.... the issue with triple play could not be sorted out by my LCO/ guy from triple play.....
What appears is that as soon more than one user uses the network.... Netflix/ Jio/ Hotstar/ Ditto/ Showbox/ Kodi etc..... the network becomes unstable...... only with youtube works with many users..... might be that triple play is enforcing some kind of binding on the number of users....
Today I brought a temporary connection of Excitel from my LCO...... everything was smooth on Excitel.
This is definitely issue with TATA Communications then I believe. Might be issue with DNS servers too with tripleplay. I tried their static IP(triple play's) with reliance and it worked well and the guy told me I have to pay 300 rs only more per month over my plan to get that if I don't want connection with TATA.
What speeds do you get on Speedtest on US servers..... say new york...
It never crosses 10mbps for me.... may be thats the reason..... they do not have ample international bandwidth... so throttling users....
