I am losing a lot of ping.
Router : TP-Link C20
ONU : GX-Earth 1000R
Excitel 100Mbps

When I connect directly to ONU there is no loss but when I connect through router there is ping loss 3-20%.
When I ping my router(192.168.0.1) there is no loss.

Is there a fault with my router?
Any way to be sure that router is faulty...... Router is sitting there at same place for months..... no physical damage to router. And it is not even that old.

It might be ping losses is occurring randomly.
Did you try to check ping loss for some hours after connecting with ONU?

Thanks for the feedback guys... Yesterday had long arguments with Excitel CC about this.... He blamed my CPE(router).... My impression was things was bad at their backend.... Pings when directly connected to ONU had no loss.

hmm maybe the cable connecting router and ont is the problem as you aren't getting loss on router.
I used the same cable to connect to the laptop... So cable was not faulty.

The ping loss has gone today after 11AM... I did not do anything....
Don't know what it was?

My connection was also going off and on regularly.
slow upload speed.
Zero torrent speed.
Finally swapped airtel 40mbps plan as primary.
Working better than 300mbps excitel.
Proves the over congestion on the network.

I feel sorry for my self now..... renewed the connection just last week.....

Ping loss appears and disappears by itself.

Finally swapped airtel 40mbps plan as primary.
Reliable connection >>unreliable high speed connection.
Do you live in multi storey gated society ?
I assume airtel is mostly rolling fiber in multi storey societies
