Rude behavior and threats from Reliance Broadband tech support

@Indian Mascot emailed , called nodal office no response .. even posted in that online complaint site where rcom replied but still got no call from them .. I guess they know that they are at fault and are trapped and hence are totally hiding now .. what i found most bugging was that Nodal Office Women outright refused to give me waiver for 3 days in august saying i already got july waiver and its not possible to give 2nd waiver so soon .. Hello Reliance Morons it was your net not working so why should I pay ?? And as far as Sameer is concerned I am thinking of writing letter to Reliance Main office plus maybe also to TRAI if thats of any use .

Trust me whats most irritating in this entire episode is lies by Sameer . and I really feel like kicking him hard .. To let him know that he must admit faults rather than pass it to the customers pc for the heck of it ..

P.S:- When Sameer visited me 1st time on 22nd july and there abouts I behaved friendly with him since that time the issue was new and I thought he would rectify it .. He told me many people are leaving reliance because of problems .. He said that they have employed just him and another guy to look after full areas complaints and that hes tired running around alone .. He then also told me that if these reliance guys dont solve the problem they blame the customers pc and ask them to re format it and change to win xp ... Ironically he did this very thing with me the next day by making me buy a new lan card ..
 
I am so tired dealing with this since 3 weeks that I wanted to bang my head on the wall .. No I did not abuse him, he told me not to call him time and again asking him why is the net not working . I mean you call customer care they are tape recorders , yes sir we are sorry for your problem, our engineers will solve your issue within 24 hours .. thats all what i get to hear ... thats why I noted this sameers and one more senior guys number called Sunil .. Sunil is the cheekiest of them all .. I called him 2 times and he just banged the phone on me ... Today I was busy i will shortly post full sequence of events with this crap company .. trust me its been very very harrowing ...

Yeah, this is why you're getting this treatment, they know you cannot dump them.

This forum was begun because the admin was facing the same treatment by Sify back in 2003. Its a very common problem in areas where there isn't choice. You are completely held hostage until the market rectifies the situation.

Does mobile solutions make any sense for you ?

Otherwise you're just going to have to suck it up until other options materialise :(

Keep spreading the word far & wide in the meantime. Its the best therapy you will get.
 
I find this very odd, never have i had a tech tell me not to call him.
Thankfully here in my place, there is no shortage of ISPs. I ordered a backup connection from a local provider who is offering services here for over 5+ years now after I had a similar experience just 2 days before with a Beam Fiber technician locally. He told me not to call him directly either. I posted about this very same genius here. It could be that they are instructed not to service customers directly but follow their ticket system or whatever but the attitude they show is definitely not appreciated.

I immediately called the Beam CC again (and after being on hold for 4+ minutes) I asked for a plan downgrade and if that is not possible a termination as I have 2 to 3 tickets per week and that got the tech to fix the problem and even the area manager who never used to answer calls and cancel any incoming call if not from their staff was put on a conference from their Head Office. They promised to install a CPE box by today but we all know the responsibility of these so called technicians.

The best solution for your case is to get a backup connection so your business is not interrupted like I did. It is just waste of time dealing with these morons.

Hi he pmed the ID to me .. i havent emailed yet cause i wasent well yesterday and in the night my net was not working again ..
 
1st of all I would suggest you not to drop Reliance till you teach them a better lession how to deal with customers. Once your Issue is resolved, then close the connection very next moment to teach them 2nd lession of customer engagement . MTNL Triband is undoubtable in Mumbai. Other option is Airtel if you have cabling in your Area. :)

My dads also telling me not to drop reliance and to keep writing letters / emails to them so our case builds up . its so sad that no one from reliance has gotten back to me asking me hows the net working .. i wonder why was it shut again yesterday night when i accessed it .. no idea wether it worked through the day or no .. right now its working fine ..

Sorry for being dumb , but when u say " MTNL is undoubatble in mumbai " . do u mean to say its good or bad ??
