S-Video with Homecast STB on sun direct dth

Hi,Did anybody try connecting S-Video (Homecast STB) with computer/monitor and succeeded?-KARIYAN

i have tried connecting to my TV tuner card. With that you can get the picture alone in the computer monitor. I compared both the qualities of S-video and RCA. But the result of RCA was good and better than the S-Video one. I personally suggest RCA video and audio for better quality output. When you use S-Video for video and RCA for audio there is a slight delay in video to be displayed in comp. audio comes first.

normally quality of cables & clean end connections play a very imp role in S video. good quality s video cables are costly (oxygen free)
