The Galaxy A9 is going to feature a 6" Super AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution and run on the Snapdragon 620 chipset with 3GB of RAM. The 620 platform offers a powerful octa-core 1.8GHz processor with 4x Cortex-A72 and 4x Cortex-A53 cores, while the GPU in charge of graphics is Adreno 510.

Samsung Adds 6-Inch Galaxy A9 To The 2016 Galaxy A Series

The Galaxy A9 will be the most premium of the lot with a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED and a 4000mAh battery. In addition to the big screen and battery, the Galaxy A9 will have a 2.5D curved glass front and slim 7.4mm profile. On the back is a 13MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture and on the front is an 8MP camera. The A9 will run the octa-core Snapdragon 652 (formerly the 620) with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Owners will also enjoy a microSD card slot, which you don't get on Samsung's current flagship devices. The A9 will have support for Samsung Pay and a fingerprint sensor as well.
