To sync your Facebook contacts ; install the official fb app. Go to Settings, under Accounts select your Facebook account and check contacts ;)

That does practically nothing!
 
there seems to be apps on google play store that claims to offer facebook sync. i would not trust them though. facebook does not make it easy to export your contact's details. i think the best method is to import them to yahoo and then import from yahoo to google.
 
that is the thing. facebook is an ******* when it comes to letting you export your contacts' email addresses.
 
Contacts - google, go backup.SMS - go sms, go backup.Apps - go backup, titanium backup root or pro if you are not rooted.Music etc. - I doubt if all that will be wiped if you factory reset the phone.
 
Unlocked my phone's bootloader, rooted it, installed ClockWorkMod recovery and installed AOKP JB Build 3. It's super awesome and most importantly it has solved the Bluetooth bug I was having on the stock ROM. :D
 
Installed CyanogenMod 10 today and it's amazing. Have tried AOKP, Codename (Android) and CyanogenMod in this short time and I'm highly impressed with CM10. Planning to use it for at least 1.5 - 2 months. The only thing left now is to purchase the Titanium Backup Pro Key! :D
