is it 4.0.3 .. heard from friend that 4.0.4 is more stable and battery life is also improved for his neo v..

But the question is, is the OS the issue, or the Touchwiz UI which is causing the problem.

nope. 4.0.3 was awful on nexus s too. things improved a lot after 4.0.4.

humm .. most of the time Touchwiz UI is the culprit ..nexus brands are good but availability is the big question ....

htc one x does not have 4.0.4 though i believe S3 is launching with android 4.0.4. older samsung devices? probably would have to wait for ages to get another update

I am not able to figure out which ICS version was used to build the ROM i am using. Its pure ICS, and i have seen some improvement in battery life as compared to the official ICS and also the GB that i had got originally. It used to be a lot more power hungry then. Has improved a lot now.

i think all custom ROMs would still show the basic android version in the about section.

Yeah, the information is there. Its 4.0.3.

Tried it 4-5 times, sacrificed my two hours sleep to see this.
