Samsung Galaxy S LCD I9003

I finally moved from Symbian to android today !

Just bought Samsung Galaxy S LCD I9003 from Croma.

Broad level differences between Galaxy S I9000 and Galaxy S LCD I9003 are as below
1) Screen type - I9000 has amoled and I9003 has LCD
2) I9000 comes with 16 GB card where as I9003 comes with 4 GB
3) Both have 1 Ghz dual core process - but GPU make is different
4) Last but not the least I9000 is 28k (Approx) and I90003 is 19.5k approx

Now i am off to explore my new toy

but guys really, buy the old one, it has gorrila glass and it has AMOLED display rathr than SLCD. it better. I am thinking of buying one too, but I want a Acer iconia or moto x720 ( both with tv out) anything else U guys would suggest ( i am gonna skip on Xperia x10 -not pro the full one)

Well the difference in price is the major factor , in some shops Galaxy S(AMOLED) is still 27-28(25 online) whereas this is available for 20, so 8k may not be a big amount for some of us, but for some it is large enough to give Galaxy S(AMOLED) a skip

Also a lot of them who start with a 15k budget, can push themselves to 20... but 28 is strictly off-limits :notallowed:

but I am pretty sure U can get it for less than 28k, I think its around 23k, and AMOLED is way good man, u have see the difference along with that I think Gourilla glass is requirement rather than a fancy. and besides I think it better to keep a old mobile and a samsung tab if u gonna spend 23/24 k...... yah I am gadget freak!!! btw have you seen Acer iconia.... looks pure pleasure too bad cant find it in India,

Well, I have not seen it below 25k anywhere, and even then I am not sure most would be able to go for it. I would not go for it, simply because I feel its not worth spending so much on just a mobile phone (no offense) , I would rather spend it on something else, maybe even a tablet in future. 10k would be my budget (which I would consider pushing to 15k) if I were to go for a smartphone now

Just googled on Acer Iconia - 4.8 Inches & Dell Streak with 5 inches called itself a tablet :ishock:

jeez guys dont buy a new one. This has got Regular glass screen instaed of Gorrila glass thats why its different and cheap!

Not that Gorilla Glass was the deciding factor ...but as per my knowledge I9003 comes with Gorilla Glass

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So the evil Empire looses 1 more minnion to the lightleasehelp:leasehelp:leasehelp:leasehelp:..... But w8 this one seems like a rouge on shifting its loyalties in the mobile sections but sticking to the dark side on the tablet section:imwink::imwink::imwink:...

PS 20K price point seems like a more of a launch price & I can see the price moving towards the 15-17k range in a few months ... Very good value for money :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:...

ya right i forget too add one more zero 20000rs...@raja deep when i contact customer service in twitter they said there will be no reduce in price in upcoming month or so...but i9003 getting android2.3 ginger bird in next month for i9000 also getting android 2.3 update...
