On top of that the buy back prices being offered for S20 seems like dump prices. This is the first time i have seen samsung offer such low prices for their existing flagships. S20 buy back price is like 25K + 3K extra bonus = 28K. Someone could sell that device at a much higher price in the outside world. How would they expect fanboys to upgrade with such policies

Oh we do not want AI to this much extent where our phones only start creating images. Even Oppo can do that. And what is the next thing to remove ? paperwork ?

Year 2023 - Apple has decided to make the phone modular and the screen , battery will be sold separately. Users can upgrade the choice of battery according to their demands .

Huawei did do that though with the P30 or Mate 30.

Seems like Samsung is doing something similar Is Samsung's Galaxy S21 Ultra using AI to fake detailed Moon photos?

And just to reiterate there’s no image overlays at any point during image processing (before, during, and after a shot is taken), Samsung told me “the Scene Optimizer process is not overlaying any textures or adding fake images.”

If Samsung has come this far, it should be blowing Pixel and iPhones out of the water. Quite literally. But the videos captured by S21 Ultra have noise, and aren't even close to iPhones. Strange.

I think it could be a problem with Android itself. Even google with all it's computational photography prowess couldn't do it. Huawei with its own silicon couldn't do it.

Seems like Samsung has done it. A well balanced phone. Let's see how OnePlus 9 Pro compares against the competition.

I checked out S21 Ultra last week and I noticed a few things that confused me.

1. Videos digitally zoom in when you are recording in 4K @ 60 fps and the quality is shit. Only the camera work I guess.

2. When you zoom in at 1080p, the camera switching is so damn jerky, nothing is quality about it. On the other hand iPhone switches to the telephoto and back to the main lens smoothly.

And the photos looked pretty mediocre in front of pixels.
