Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition

Really caught me off guard. This is good. Very good. Now there's an availability of top of the line device with LTE, Snapdragon 600 & Adreno 320, given that they release it with US version. Haven't checked it much. Missed the entire keynote.
Anyways it's beneficial for Google as they get world's first flagship in the vision they imagined their mighty Android would go. From Samsung pov, they must know that they are only going to sell a few of those purer S4. I see it as more of a relationship rebuilding with the search giant.

My samsung Galaxy nexus phone does not upgrade to 4.2.2; it is 4.2.1. My daughter has 4.2.2 even though she bought the phone one and a half year earlier; but she has hacked it, 'rom' ed it and now back to standard version.
Advice please.

Is it a non-yakju or a non-takju build? no one cheered. i guess samsung told google fuck you on subsidized pricing.
Probably because both the GS4s will compete against each other and having major price differences will shift the tide heavily in one direction.

Thanks. I used the wrong word 'hack' instead of 'unroot'.
Will decide whether to go for 4.2.2. On the surface, there is nothing new.

So this one is not the international version of S4 but the one with Snapdragon 600 quad core cpu.

Not sure. But it seems like that.

Yes it uses the S600 not Exynos 5412(was it?). So that it works on LTE networks.
Qualcomm Cheipsets play well with LTE.
