Buddy.....thats what i said, Whatever reason u give. They will disguise interest with some other name thats it. In short they will recover so much, that they dont give in on any of their financing cost. Be it Future finance, or be it any retailer, or banker. We have been given these kinds of examples to solve in our FM course material & asked to calculate the interest component!I dont clearly remember which TV u got. But i m sure, the price must have been inflated to such extent, as to recover the interest component. As a layman, i dont like to keep my money in simple savings account.....i look for investing opportunities like Fundamentally strong stocks, or FDs or Bonds. They are businesses my friend. How can they afford to have their P&L hit with ridiculous figures of interest? The moment an investor sees that, he would withdraw the money thinking that the company is out there to do charity by giving interest free EMIs.But forget these technicalities i reckon.....enjoy ur phone!
When u go for an EMI next time, contact me or Toocool with the EMI price, and the cash outright price!
