dunno. dealing with friend's cousin is tougher than dealing with the friend directly. he has my contact number. i would have to wait for his call. i just hope he does not leave the package at his home in karnal. i do not really want to travel all the way to karnal to just pick up the phone.

lol. Galaxy nexus was launched last year in october-november period. samsung dropped the idea to launch it officially in india. i waited for three months for them to launch it after they officially revealed plans to bring it to india. they never did. arseholes.

My friend's S3 fell from a distance of 2ft and the display is gone, we went to the nearby service center in andheri west and the cost of replacing the display is Rs 8000. S3 display is not in stock so it may take around 8-10 days for the display to arrive. As we were waiting in the service center we saw few Galaxy note users complaning about applications not running after the latest update. Please be careful as S3 is a very delicate piece, get a case if you can

Is that 2 feet? You mean less than waist height for most people? I don't think these pieces are that delicate. If they are, shame on Samsung for asking 8000 for such a display which can't withstand such a small drop.
