I just read it on AndroidOS...

Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 2 with Android 4.0 | AndroidOS.in

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 features 1GHz dual core processor (make unknown), Android 4.0, 1GB RAM, 7-inch PLS display with 1024×600p resolution, 3MP rear camera, front camera, and HSPA+ support.

ooh. i think they posted about it before engadget!

The redux doesn't mark a huge departure from its predecessor, packing a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and a 1024 x 600 LCD. The big changes, however, come in the software department, with the Galaxy Tab 2 shipping with Android 4.0 straight out of the box. Other than that, you'll find a three-megapixel rear-facing camera, a VGA shooter up front, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, along with HSPA+ connectivity.

I guess, price range of around 15k, is to handle competition from the Kindle, Nook & other smaller players.

The last part of the article should be actually read like this:

"Online sources have reported that these models have been delayed because of the issues related to screwing up the Android Ice Cream Sandwich edition with Samsung TouchWiz user interface."

15-15.5k in the US... Here in India I expect a price range 18-25k...

18 - Likely. 22 Possible. 25 - I doubt as 3G version which I believe is better is already available in the 25 range.

I don't know much about tablets but correct me if I'm wrong that dual core processor is already year old its time for quad core.
