Samsung has announced a newer Gear VR virtual reality headset – the Gear VR Innovator Edition – which is specially optimised to be used with the
Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. The new headset, which is designed in collaboration with Oculus, similar to the Gear VR for the Galaxy Note 4, features a 96-degree field of view and three sensors – accelerometer, gyrometer, and proximity sensor. However, Samsung has been able to reduce the size of the headset’s size by 15 percent in comparison to the previous one.
