Yeah. That was before RBI raised the ceiling for contactless transactions from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000, in January. Samsung Pay should update this too.

so i removed and added the card back. sms verify. code is pretty long. samsung app accepts 10 characters. first 10 and last 10 doesn't work. i don't really remember how i verified it initially. googling doesn't seem to help. any ideas?

nm. last six digits worked. i was trying 4 and 10.

would have to wait till later today to see if it works now on pinelabs machines lol. was flawless till last month.

@Sushubh Please check if transactions > Rs 2000 and < Rs 5000 are going through via NFC. (Not MST)

if i can get it working. plus most of my purchases are at local grocery stores. i can't remember the last time i paid more than 1500 bucks at a retail store. very likely when i bought the washing machine at vijay sales 2 years ago. all large purchases have been online in a while. so it's unlikely i would be able to test out a 2000+ payment in near future. if it even works later today after re-addition!

oh yeah. the banner inside the app mentioned that it was discontinued a while ago.

Checked. So it ended on August 17. They have had this banner for a while now.
